Kieran is a wonderful spirit that is full of potential and uses this to maximum advantage to prepare for the mortal journey.

Though single for a large portion of the lead up to the vote for the competing mortal plans, Kieran wastes none of the time alloted to him and when Cindy leaves the abusive Masias she finds in Kieran a true gentleman.

Such is the contast between Masias and Kieran that Cindy establishes early in her new relationship that it is Kieran that she would like to be united with in mortality.

Kieran’s love and respect for Cindy is so strong that it imperils him in the first novel, and only the love and faith of Cindy extracts him from the vice that he finds himself in.

Like Cindy, Kieran is quite a young spirit and the two are allowed maximum time to prepare together for their mortal journey such that they both feature in the fifth and final novel in the series – a time when they are sorely needed.
